Effective access to justice means that people are not “priced out” of the legal system. This means all Queenslanders should able to bring and respond to court proceedings, regardless of their financial, social or geographic status. Most centres deal with all major areas of law and provide services to people who live or work in the surrounding area.

Community Legal Centres provide an initial consultation on most matters of law to any member of the community.
