Stuck in a relationship because of a lease

People sign leases together all the time, and it’s fairly common for one person to need to get out of the lease , or for a lease to be broken entirely — people get new jobs and need to relocate , roommate situations deteriorate, relationships end. Breaking up is never easy to do, but if you live together it adds a whole new set of issues. Fortunately, we’ve been through this before and have a few helpful pieces of advice. However, there’s still months left on our lease and our apartment is only one bedroom so I’m not sure if it’s even possible that we could continue civilly living together.
